VeriSign Releases Q2 Domain Brief (Web Host Industry Review)
December 6, 2007 --Internet infrastructure services provider VeriSign announced on Wednesday it released its third quarter 2007 Domain Name Industry Brief, revealing some 12 million new domain names were added over the past quarter.
First Passport, now fraud: ex-MS employee charged (Addict 3D)
The former Microsoft employee associated with the company's notorious December 1999 Hotmail outage has been charged with fraud. Carolyn Gudmundson was indicted Thursday on charges that she raked in more than $1 million during a four-year period by falsifying expense reports she filed for domain name registration charges.
